Every day I pull into that parking spot that says 'Head Football Coach,' I get out of my car and pinch myself sometimes, just to make sure it's real, sort of like, 'Is this really happening?'
You could talk about potential all day. Nobody really cares about it on the football field. You want to come out and win these games. That's the only thing that matters.
Trip Hawkins - and this was the early 1980s - was saying there's going to be a day when everyone has a computer and they're going to want to do more on it, including playing games. So he started up a company, EA Sports, and he was going to have three games, football, basketball and baseball. So I was the football game.
Pushing for excellence is a fight. You have to fight to hire the right employees, fight to get the supplies you need, to move line items around. Being a great manager means pushing to get those few extra inches every day. It's almost like a football game - the team that wins sometimes wins by just inches.
This ain't a football game, we do this every day.
My dad gave my brother and I a camera to film our football games when we were 10 years old so we could see how we could get better. Then one day, we decided to pick up the camera and film whatever we were doing.
Sometimes I watch a football match, and I think I know better, but at the end of the day, we don't. So I think people need to appreciate more what we are trying to achieve in the car.
It's easier to date a football player for sure. Football players have one game a week, and they practice every day, but they're all at home. In basketball, they're on the road all the time.
If it's football season, all things sort of stop. I'm from Seattle, so I'll watch the Seahawks and whatever other game that day is worthy.
This is how I started playing: I was playing hooky one day, and the coach and the principal walked up behind me. They scared me, and I ran, and they noticed I could run really fast. They wanted me to come out for the football team.
It's really an organizational job with a football team to watch them go through their day.
At the end of the day, I'm a footballer who has played at some of the biggest football clubs in the world and played with some of the best players in the world.
In my day, I wasn't the best footballer, but I was the best goalscorer for two or three years.
I've got an electric little motorcycle that I go to the supermarket with every day, and it's powered by the solar panels, so it's really got a zero carbon footprint.
And who knows? Somewhere out there in this audience may even be someone who will one day follow my footsteps, and preside over the White House as the president's spouse. I wish him well!

I've embraced comfortable, but still chic, footwear. I don't know who I was wearing heels for - as much as I love the way they make my legs look and the power I feel when I choose to wear them - but I can do a longer and more pressing day if I'm in a shoe I can walk in.
I'm saving that rocker for the day when I feel as old as I really am.
Even though I am not hungry when I get up, I try to eat to get me ready for the day. Within an hour of getting up.
I will thank God for the day and the moment I have.
