Shallow intellect is worse than ignorance. Ignorance can be treated with knowledge, but shallow intellect, that is illusion of knowledge, is untreatable and quite dangerous to the progress and wellbeing of humanity.
WONDERLAND It is a person's unquenchable thirst for wonder That sets them on their initial quest for truth. The more doors you open, the smaller you become. The more places you see and the more people you meet, The greater your curiosity grows. The greater your curiosity, the more you will wander. The more you wander, the greater the wonder. The more you quench your thirst for wonder, The more you drink from the cup of life. The more you see and experience, the closer to truth you become. The more languages you learn, the more truths you can unravel. And the more countries you travel, the greater your understanding. And the greater your understanding, the less you see differences. And the more knowledge you gain, the wider your perspective, And the wider your perspective, the lesser your ignorance. Hence, the more wisdom you gain, the smaller you feel. And the smaller you feel, the greater you become. The more you see, the more you love -- The more you love, the less walls you see. The more doors you are willing to open, The less close-minded you will be. The more open-minded you are, The more open your heart. And the more open your heart, The more you will be able to Send and receive -- Truth and TRUE Unconditional LOVE.
All the calculus, quantum mechanics and languages in the world are worthless pieces of information, if they are not brought to the service of the society.
Even if there is no connection. Even if you are far from reach. Even if friendship is not enough. Even if love itself is not enough. What about apathy? I need you.
I'm always amazed at how 'We The People' come together to assist one another during Hurricane Season or any other calamity. The beauty of human compassion always staggers me and reminds me of how divine we truly are. However, It shouldn't take a disaster, natural or otherwise, to remind us of our collective humanity.
Global betterment is a mental process, not one that requires huge sums of money or a high level of authority. Change has to be psychological.
It could be said that we become so much a stranger that we disappear and find ourselves reborn in the midst of humanity which is quite a paradox.
Spiritual practices in any tradition, including mindfulness in its many forms, are meant to help you live what is yours to live, not make you rise above it. These tools are meant to help you feel companioned inside your grief. They're meant to give you a tiny bit of breathing room inside what is wholly unbearable. That's not at all the same thing as making your pain go away.
This is the most critical crisis facing Humanity; not pollution, poverty or wealth inequality. This—the delusion of the self—is the problem behind all other problems. Until we face it, address it and heal it, the global pandemic of hurt and suffering will continue indefinitely.
An odd person but a good one. I am an immensely dense spiritual apparatus springing from Compassion and Honesty. With a clear understanding that it is not my intellectual ability but rather strength of character, sheer tenacity and integrity, that allows me to lift my morale and withstand in dificulties. An odd person but a good one, who believe that being honest about oneselfe and honest in my dealings with others is the only way that I can move beyond games to genuine intimacy and friendship with other people. Unfortunately, Compassion and Honesty are difficult to find.
