Today, everyday, try not to worry about what someone thinks of you, who may be hurting or deceiving you or taking advantage of your kindness or love. Just be who you are; who God intends you to be. People who push you away with their bad behavior are doing you a favor. They are releasing you from negativity. Remember, follow your instincts. That's God talking.
In order to live a fulfilling life, you must do as much (if not more) for yourself as you do for others. Sometimes we spend so much time caring for the next person we neglect to invest in ourselves. Remind yourself every day: Your needs, your aspirations, your success, and your goals also matter. It’s ok to be a shoulder, cheerleader, friend and support system; but remember, you deserve as good as you give.
No one's validation should be your inspiration! Got my Brooklyn armor on and always living my truth! Today, use whatever empowers you, whether it be a prayer, your favorite quote, an article of clothing, a picture, or the vision of your goal alive in your mind... make THAT the inspiration you need to conquer another day!
