There is oneness within all things that is divine in essence. This is a quote from my upcoming third book. It contains ideas, insight, quotes, and poems about love and consciously living.
Manifestations of good and evil, saints and sinners, make up the world. A person can be spiritual without being religious. The religious view that a particular list of actions are right or wrong (moral absolutism) has virtually nothing to do with the fundamental realization of a person’s spiritual identity. Admirable spiritual people are generous and kind, and seek personal growth through actions devoted to creating mindfulness.
Dreams of a person, a tribe, and a culture turn into action. Reality affects our dreams and our dreams in turn shape the reality of our actions. The interplay between dreams and action produces the highest form of living. Our dreams speak to us in ghostly whispers. We contain the collective want of our ancestors inside us. We are molecular cells of humanity. We seek guidance in our daily life to produce health from the spirit world. Similar to our ancestors, we seek to restore balance and harmony in our lives through spirituality.
Society’s structure exists to maintain the power and wealth of a few privileged persons. A person must resist society’s attempts to bully him or her into living a diminished life of a conformist. I must be wary that my defining character is neither effaced nor compromised and rebuff men of weaker temperament attempting to repress my uninhibited joy for life. I need to demonstrate the inventive spirit of an opportunistic doer. I will allow myself to run wild in the eyes of the world of watchers and establish a lifestyle that allows the physical body room to flex its fibrous muscles. I shall live in a manner that enables the mind the opportunity to construct a secure shelter that encourages mental and spiritual exploration. I aspire to establish a workable balance between retreating to my private cave to seek solace and striking meaningful engagements with the larger world.
Life is a story book. Each time you wake up you open a new page There are exciting, nutritious, exhausting pages and there are also pages to remember. Almighty God alone is the Revealer of the pages. Because he is the rightful owner of your life. The purpose and purpose of all of us depend on him in everything. So everyone should ask him to open good pages and close bad pages
Many people in recovery find that they feel spiritually grounded when in regular contact with the great outdoors. Others feel a deep serenity after lighting a candle in a church or temple or by chanting a sacred mantra. The point is that, unlike a typical religion that lays out a non-negotiable ideology, spirituality is expansive and deeply personal.
When we really want to hear, and be heard by, someone we love, we do not go rushing into noisy crowds. Silence is a form of intimacy. That’s how we experience it with our friends and lovers. As relationships grow deeper and more intimate, we spend more and more quiet time alone with our lover. We talk in low tones about the things that matter. We do not shout them to each other. We may shout about them to others, but quietness is the hallmark of love.
Dig deep, past the pain of knowing you failed or that you could have done things differently and past the temptation to self-loathe. Live in the pain of the mistake, notice your ego's attempt to protect you by justifying your mistake or blaming another for their part in a situation. We must go deeper into ourselves, to tap into the wisdom that resides underneath our mistakes.
